Description
All proceeds raised from the sale of the original painting ‘In The Light Of The Lamp’, plus 10% of profits from the sale of all prints will be donated to the Cavell Nurses’ Trust.
Jacqueline uses the worldwide symbol of memorial – the poppy – to create contrast against gritty impressionistic landscapes. In this work, blue poppies are used to remember medical practitioners, whilst blue butterflies are a symbol used by charities for doctors, nurses and midwives. All Jacqueline’s paintings feature silhouettes which is intended to allow her audience to connect with the works in a more personal and emotional way.
